Dude! You are brilliant! I now have very fast access to my favourite WAP site!
I couldn't agree more about the overkill on Vodafone Live. I don't mind having some branding - after all, they "gave" me a very expensive phone for £70 - but this service is simply NOT a service that I find at all useful.
Did the guy in the shop say that unlocking (for £20) got rid of the VLive service mods?
It is all so annoying cos I had better WAP functionality with my T68i.

Unfortunately the right soft button, the up button, the vodafone live icon, the favourites icons and the more XXXXX icons all still take me to Vodalive.
snip...

I have an unbranded T610 so can't be sure if this will work for you but the right soft button (moving joystick to the right) invokes the first item in the shortcut list. So, if you change this to something else (like select profile as I have) it won't take you to vodafone wap page when you accidentally move the joystick right.

Moving the joystick to the left takes you to the first item in the shortcuts menu, which defaults as "write new text". This is easy to change, but am happy with write new.

Moving the joystick to the right takes you to the menu icon grid desktop.

Clicking the right soft key (the key above the C) take you to Voda Live! I can't see anyway to change this, unless I am mis-reading you.

No, it just enables your phone to take any sim card. Useful for when I go to SA and want to put in a local PAYG sim.

Where can I download a new WAP profile from? Does SonyEricsson have a link to do this?

Either Vodafone or Sony's websites have links for this. Or just reenter all the details manually
