If Nokia wants to compete, however, it better get the 7210 out quickly, otherwise most people will purchase the t68 if they want a color screen. Who is going to wait 6-10 months for the 7210?

Ah, haha. The time stamps were correct. As it turns out T68 has been the leader of the pack for a year now. And 7210 was announced in march.

There successor to T68 needs to be announced NOW.

7210 is very good in design and the buttons are easy to use.. i have t68i and a 7210, even though i think t68i is better, the 7210 is beautifull as well... and it is definately better than any other SE phone, so SE is far from winning anything, because any new nokia is much better than any se (design wise),nonetheless they are still losing it to the t68i (the one and only) Finally, do not forget the timeless pininfarina design of the 8890(8850) that phone is still the most beautifull phone i have ever seen...

I also have the 7210 .. and i love its design!! .. cant stop thinking about how nice looking it is .. and you get used to the buttons in notime!

Btw the buttons have a hundred times better "feel" than the ones on the T68 .. and its so much faster too.

This is two of the main things that made me leave SE.

(three, if you count the beautiful design)

I hate the new designs of the new phones and the new Nokia phones.

What were they thinking?

My opinion is that one might like or dislike the design of a phone.
But a fact is about quality.
I owned several Ericsson phones and I was really disappointed in the building QUALITY of the t68. i like the design of that phone, but it is made with cheap materials. Compare it to a t39... They improved the quality on the t68i, but they took away some really good design features, like the rubber-look back of the phone.
Nokia is like a car manufacturer. They have several different lines on the market and some of their phones look much more like concept phones (like the one with the round keyboard).

on the other hand seems to have improved overall build quality (or to bring it back to its origins), but there is no creative design whatsoever. The keys are square, form is square, surfaces are not carved or else...
I yould have made a rubber back on the P800 in the green logo colour and also release it in fancy but also classy colors (like t68 in gold and gray).
