Hi,
how can I know where is my T610 made in?
@ All Singapore T610 users,
does your T610 has the hissing sound problem?
I am wondering if the Singapore's batch fixed this problem.
@ProficienT,
Hi, I think you need not be angry. If I were you, I would be very happy instead. Yes, I now get a T610 but I can tell you that I'm quite regret after seeing that the hissing sound problem has been fixed in the new batchs. You will get a no problem T610 soon while I just can use my defected T610. Don't you think your situation is much better than me?
Thanks a lot you all

The hissing sound only happens if you using Starhub for what I notice. People from Singtel call in to your StarHub(T610) there's this slight hissing sound or I should say Echo........ But M1 call to my StarHub T610 no noises very clear. From StarHub to StarHub no problem also. Tested this with my brother (whom also bought at the same time as me last Saturday) By the way the led in the centre of the Joystick only lights up RED when charging WITH your phone OFF. No green light or blue light for bluetooth or Signal, CONFIRMED.

It seems that all the T610s are made in China. Even the first ones sold here in Sweden were made in China. Maybe that explains the good initial release price?
And the erm.. hissing sound effect...

Was at parkway, got a tiny mobile phone roadshow.. think its singtel.
they have the dummy set for t610.
the salesgal there was carrying and using a t610(real phone).
she offered to let me try it..
didnt use it extensively... but not so bad..
she said it will only be launch maybe around 2 weeks from now..
asked her about the hissing problem, she said she knew nothing about it.
i tried calling using her t610 and couldnt heard any hissing sound..
but then again, it wsa noisy there and from wat i read here,
the hissing sound is only noticable when the environment's quiet.
couldnt get any more info from her as she said the phone is new and not launched yet.
anyone who wants to see with the phone may go down.
hope the gal is there with the "real" phone so you can try it out.

From Funan got it last Saturday. Price is $726 without line.
I came across in some forum that there are cheaper priced one can't remember where??
Actually you wouldn't have notice the so called Hissing sound if you never read about it it's just like an echo as mentioned above.
Till now I haven't got the effect except the first time using it on Singtel line calling into my Starhub
