This is my setup:
Hardware - IBM t40p (sync with internal bluetooth)
OS - Windows XP Pro SP1
MS Software - Office 2003 Beta 2 Tech Refresh
SE Software - Sony Ericsson Communication Suite 1.5.7

I just made it work!!!!!!! It was a long process, however this is what I did. I re-installed SE Communications Suite, upgraded my Bluetooth stack from IBM, and tried again (at this point it still did not work) so I gave up on Office 2003, uninstalled it, and re-installed OfficeXP. At this point I found out the offline/data storage files for Outlook are not backwards compatible - si I got worried. I then uninstalled OfficeXP and installed Office 2003 B2 Tech Referesh directly from those CDs (I had been progressivley upgrading) and now it works!

I too have experienced issues using XTNDConnect and Outlook 2003 Beta technincal Refresh 2. When trying to synchronize Calendar and tasks, I get the following error message;

Error in GetModifiedInfo.

Yesterday I upgraded to the official release of Office 2003 and now I am able to properly synchronize with no error messages. I guess Microsoft has addressed and corrected a number of issues because it now finally works and I am able to get my Outlook Calendar items on my T68i.
