Exactly what resolution are these pictures? I thought the T610 had a VGA camera.

It's CIF. 352 x 288 pixels.

They look pretty terrible even in that resolution, I can´t imagine VGA samples.

T610 doesn't have a VGA mode it's CIF only. And of course they look crap if you are looking for sharp clear images, but not all photography is about super sharp clear high resolution images.

For example there is a photographic group who use only box brownies for their photos, now box brownies are like the T610 of the film camera world, yet you can still capture creative compelling images.

I've revived this thread because I want to practice my photographic skills from an artistic perspective - and having such a crap camera actually enhances those skills because you can't rely on having a nice clear image to impress.

Anyone can take a clear sharp photo with a good camera but does that make it art? Without the creative input any camera can only produce boring unimpressive photos.

It's possible to minimise the T610's flaws and enhance it's strengths and then get photos that are interesting to view.

I supposse a T630 counts as well on this thread?? I owned one, and it really has been tough taking acceptable photos, but that serves as experience you know
