I assure you that is all they did. It even says so on the service log that they gave me... It took them only half an hour to update.

The hissing sound used to be very loud... or perhap my tolerance level is very low... but now it is quite clear, well, cleaer than my T68i was anyway

How about the ringtone level? mine after getting it fixed is much lower.

No hissing, but I can't hear the phone ring...wonder which one is better.

You should return it again and say the sofwarefix was bad
and that you want the hardware fix and the software that goes
with it. The ppl who gotten the hardware fixed seem very happy.

I got my T610 on June 6th with SW R1A081! Very stable software man although maybe is the newest 1! No crashin wot so ever! I think the phone is jus louder than any other polyphonic fone around! Thats perhapr why u hear some hissing! I jus turn the volume down during a conversation &it becomes almost perfect! Therefore i thnk that SE jus turn the volume down! Plus there r some resistors that need to be replaced if u want 2deal wiv this problem properly! Visit my WAPsite: http://yavar.mywap.o2.co.uk Regards This message was posted from a T610

If the rumours r true about a new version of T610 coming out (inc 4mb version) this stinks hard...

just as hard as nokia now releasing a newer version of the 7250!!

were all mugs to buy this crap when it comes out first on the market - £300 quid i spent!!!!! and now theres talk of a newer refined model...

how can these companies do this! -- life really is a bitch...

oh hang on, phones ringing - lol

Strange but on my phone the hissing is getting less and less prominent. But all is good and i have R1A081 well the phone shipped with it. Love the phone to bits but i wished that i could have gotten it in blue. But i find that the camera sucks in comparison with the camera of the panasonic gd87. Can anyone get the images of the camera onto the sony ericsson picture gallery. I send them and on wap it displays the titles but the image is a 1x1 black pixel! This message was posted from a T610
