So why state it is £200 and then change it. Surely that is what the phones for sale section is for and ebay. Not telling him what to do just saying my piece. If people do not like that then that is their choice, equally if people do not like people changing their mind on the price then that is OK to. Just seems a bit unfair to those of you that have said they would buy it, only to then be told now it has all changed and they now have to make a better bid for it.

No problem we are all entitled to our own opinion, if we were not then this forum would be a none starter. Besides we are all after a fair deal and good chat and ideas. No offence taken and no offence meant keep posting.

Hi mad_taffy2k
Surely you would not need to cancel your contract with orange if you accept my part exchange offer, you could just swap your sim over for period of
time.
Just a thought.

Taffy,
Ask to switch to the HSCSD tarrif, say you just want to use HSCSD and nothing else.
This will take you to a 10 quid a month tarrif - then cancel. They will ask for 10 quid x the number of months left on your 12 month contract to settle.
I'd love to buy your P800, but I think I'm a little late to jump on the bandwagon!

I am chilled, and I was just saying that if you are not sure of the price it will be, sort it out first. I think you will find that the correct price for ending your contract early, will be the higher of the two fees. It is basicaly the price of you monthly line rental, multiplied by the amount of months left on your contract.
I do not want to upset anyone but I also think you should play fair with everyone. You must have thought it would cause a frenzzy, when you want to sell a £500 phone for £200, whether it has a mark on it or not.
