Im also a seller at eBay! Ive sold phones to more than how much the p800 is going for on this subject! The seller or like me would be worried if they didnt get the money for the item! If he has a good rating he is legitmate! If ur still think Nah! Email one of his buyers for that 8910i ;)

I think you're playing with fire recommending someone purely on the basis of his feedback and the fact that you sell on ebay too. The feedback system is a good idea, but it's not foolproof, I'm fairly confident that I could create an ebay account and get a whole lot of good feedback within a week.
At the end of the day, the old saying holds true:
If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
On the other hand if you've got £600 that you don't mind losing (you have to buy in 3s) then go for it, if it works, I'm sure you can sell 'em for £220 and make some profit

Just recently I bought a Samsung s300 over ebay from a seller with over 150 positive feedback and guess what! I never got the phone and won't see my money ever again. the problem is that a lot of these seller get positive feedback by selling cheap stuff by regsitering under many usernames. so my advice would be to check what a seller sold before and not how much positive feedback he has. how come someone sells around 400 old dresses and then suddendly decides to sell some of the most expensive mobile phones on the market? not the average phone seller, is it?! if you ask me this stinks. but thats only my opinion and if you think you have to buy from this seller please do and lets us know how this turnes out. maybe i am wrong but id rather buy from someone legitimate whom I can trust then playing russian roulette on ebay.
Cheers
@ orobas-wats: exactly! at least someone with a brain (no offence to others!)

When you say legit and you can trust, where are these people. I have bought and sold on ebay for a while now, and so far have been very lucky in both my sales and purchases. I know alot of people have been caught out, and I know this seller has sold alot of dresses and now is selling £500 phones at less than half price, but maybe just maybe they are legit. And anyway we do not all have someone we know or trust just round the corner selling a P800 for £200. Like everything in life there is a risk and if it envolves money, people always seem less likely to to take that risk. Just my opinion and no before anyone asks I am not the seller, and have no conection with them/her/him whoever they are. Anyway if some one does buy one let us all know if it ever turns up.

yep, contacted ebay - the seller is now not regsitered anymore. i also contacted the other users who buoght from the same seller a moble phone that day (he sold around 80 phones on that one day!) and none of them got the phone -> and i bought the phone 6 weeks ago. i've also contacted the police in hope that they might help me... ebay won't do jack. sorry, but so far I've only had bad experiences with ebay.

EBay is as good as it can be, it's deffinately not great, buying anything remotely, be it on EBay, website, phone or T.V. carries risk, the best way to reduce that risk is to buy from places you, or people you know have used before. The problem with EBay is, every sale is from a different "shop", so it's a big risk everytime, your mate may buy a "tub of toy soldiers" from "Imaniceguyuk" and they come through fine, so you have a go, get exactly the same tub, but from "Imaniceguytoouk" and he doesn't send it, there's no relationship between sales unless they're from the same seller.

@miss uk
I paid 350€ thats around £260. Not too bad but still £260. I bought it over in germany and I am in the UK right now so it's gotten really complicated .actually the police found the fraudster but can't do anything because they don't have enough proof to arrest him - very frustrating!
ah well at least I've learned my lesson.
