Nokia's are people who want a bright and colourful phone. They don't know the potential of a phone has.
SE are real phones, used by people who know how to use their phones. Making use of the technology available and not just changing their wallpaper.
Plain and simple SE Rules, sales don't mean nothing. Nokia will always be chasing SE when it comes to mobile phone tech.
I mean the only exciting thing Nokia has coming out, apart another 10 phones in different colours. Is a device to view your photos on your tv.
what is the point?
SE has BT MP3 player, flash. That is what you call technology.

This is the ole Microsoft v Apple thing. Microsoft is no.1 , cause its cheap, but it jsut throws everything together. Where as apple use the best tehnology and actually designs things. Another example (Ford v BMW). The same applys to Nokia v Sony Ericsson. Nokia are the top sellers, doesn't mean they make the best phones.

SE phones can show the number of times you missed calls from a number, but only shows the time for the most recent missed call. So I might see that I missed calls from someone 8 times and think they need me urgently, but in fact 7 of those calls happened days ago.

i am no nokia lover but the person who said there phones are just thrown together should look at some recent se releases to see phones thrown together both the p800 and t610 show signs of been thrown together
they are still great freatured phones but as i said earlier most mobile phone users dont want the features they offer just a phone that can make calls sms and mms and nokia seem to make phone very well that do the basics.
my opinion is if you need more you buy se.
to say se will be happy out of the top 5 is crap they are part of a plc and they will demand results like it or not
sony didnt get involved just to say were they are they will be looking to challenege the big player make no mistake about that

Well i just ordered a t610, could've had a 7250 for same price, but i'm right off nokias. Still keeping my trusty t68i. My wife has my siemens s55 now, she prefers it much more to her 8310, she used to have nokia phones all the time, but can't stand them now.
This message was posted from a T68i

Sony Ericsson released Ericsson R600 after Sony Ericsson was created. T68i is just a T68 with new software and they only did that to make more money, just like Nokia.

The T68i phone was made to show of the new SE company. The software in the T68i was in large parts the promised T68 software with MMS.
The difference between Nokia and SE is that SE allowed the T68m users to simply update to the T68i software, something that Nokia never would do. They just release a new phone and don't care about previous buyers, even if the phone has the same hardware.

Even though I deteste their styling and prefer SE's, when it comes to being a phone, Nokia is still in front. Much better phonebook, SMS functions and speed. I reckon more people access 'Snake' than most of the things that separate SE and Nokia e.g. bluetooth. Reliability wise (in my experience), they are very similar.
