Orange, can you define what a smartphone is because, like the previous post said, the P800 is a smartphone This message was posted from a T300

P800?

3650 and 7650 are not even there with it they are semi retarded symbian based phone compared to P800 they are not smart phones.
SE came up with a phone the technology is way above Nokia which Nokia have to take 3-5 years to come up with.

Hey look it's a new nokia phone just grab it then after using it for a while hey look it's the same phone I having before but with more BUGS!!!!!

I was just referring to discussion around this forum that P800 is more like two-hand-operated PDA type of phone than smartphone.

Orange:

think I have to correct you a little;
SE already has a phone competing with the 7650: T610
But none competing directly with the 3650. 7650 is just an ordinary phone now, with nothing special but the size; which is extraordinary big when thinking about how outdated the specs are (but it WAS once a "great" phone...)

I don't think 6600 is really targeted at young users like someone said earlier...the appearance & price (its a classic series phone afterall) tell it's more business oriented. I wouldn't say it's directly competing with P800 (wait for the new Communicator, yesterday Nokia said "something wonderful is cooking") but with something SE doesn't even have. My guess: Nokia will make more money with these kind of phones than SE will with P800.

ööö...Not. 7650 is smartphone based on Series 60 platform. You can hardly call T610 as a smartphone.

So what does the 7650 do that makes it more of a smartphone than the T610? More mem?

Multitasking..
Yeah, well, but how in practice can you get the advantage of this in the 7650 versus the T610?
