I have called SE and the girl there said that both HBH-35 & 60
can only be paired to one phone at time.

The HB60 can definately be paired with at least 2 phones as I have one and paired it with a T68i and 610. Obviously you can only use the HB60 with one phone at a time but the headset always remains paired to both phones.
The last phone that you pair is the one you can use for Voicedialling functions.
I took my T610 back to CW and got a R3A model which was W22 and no longer have the crackling on my HB60

I have a HBH-35 and the sound quality is perfect. The range is better and it works flawlessly. Longer battery life is a big deal. Only donwside is the size and it isn't that much bigger. I love my headset.

Ok, everyone seems confused by all the hype around both units... let me clarify something... ALL BT units use the same chipset. The range differs because of external factors... NOT the chip design.

actual antenna size, proximity of antenna to battery unit (the battery does affect range due to its metal composition) actual power supply (differs from unit to unit due to inconsistensies of battery & chip production) other metal objects ON you or in your pocket... keys, coins, swiss knives, etc... all these things affect actual range. Not to mention other BT devices (did you think you were the ONLY person using BT?) and other 2.4Ghz transmitters in the area... WiFi, cordless phones, and stray radio waves.

Now, the HBH35 does have a better battery life simply because they can use a bigger battery... even my HBH-30 has better battery life than the HBH-60.

With regards to audio quality... this has NOTHING to do with the chip... it has more to do with 2 things... RF reception and phone/headset software. Unless you're unlucky enough to get a defective unit. Bluetooth operates at such low power that the smallest factors affect overall performance.

Which one to get? Just get the one YOU think looks cool and has the right price. For performance and range... go for the older HBH10 or 15... they had a larger external antenna and my old HBH10 could hit 15 feet through a concrete wall.

I prefer the look of the HBH30 (that's the one I got) over the HBH60 since it looks sleeker to me, and the battery is behind my ear, so the weight feels better. I also chose the HBH30 over the HBH35 because I prefer the gray over the black... I found the black too 'cyber' looking.

My point is, each BT headset has its good and bad points... no ONE headset (except maybe Bluespoon) is better than the other in any way... the HBH10/15 had better range due to their larger antennas, and had dynamic menus allowing up to 8 handsets to be actively paired. The HBH30/35 have a sleek look, feel lighter due to better weight distribution, and have better battery life. The HBH20 is for those people who find BT headsets weird looking and want the traditional 'wired' look. The HBH60 is small.

Get whichever one suits you... if it looks good, get it. If you're really concerned with range... try them out in the shop... or just save up and get a Bluespoon.
