Has any1 tried to dial a number using their fingers on the virtual keypad whilst in the middle of a busy saturday nite in leicester square?

I know it looks nice without the keypad, but honestly, unless ur using the stylus, its quite difficult to enter the correct number using just ur fingers! (unless u got thin nimble fingers with £20 nails done by the American Nails shop)

The flip also goes a long way to protect the screen too, and I guess scratchin the screen shoudnt b a problem if u have invested in a screen protector?

I do agree that its a personal choice and the option should be available, but it IS a phone at the end of the day! Even thou I do not think it can compete with the ease and simplicity of use that I had with the T68i which I found a major dissapointment.

Well, all I got to say is it takes practice. I had to get rid of the flip eventually because it was coming apart and shifting too much. It's also more convenient without the flip. imagine you were surfing on the net in the train with the flip open and when you change lines or something you got to hold the phone with the flip open while walking in the crowd -- not very safe.

@bloomp: don't know what you meant with that sarcasm, but I think it didn't reflect very well on you.

@Indianbwoy, I need the services of the "American nail shop" can i book in advance or just turn up, also do you think straight cut or round tip looks best.

I agree with the fact that touch screen dialing just isn't the "Futuristic fun" it promissed to be, as FEEL is the most important aspect when it comes to everyday mobile use.

The round keypad tip gives it a very Sony Z5 look. Wonder if anybody remembers that phone. I wanted to get it for the longest time.

I'm not beeing negative. When the phone is out I defenitly gonne buy it but I hear so many peopld saying the y now for sure that the flip cant come of or it can. Iwonder how the hell do you know that when ther still isn't any official information about it apart from the intervieuw and the pictures. Don't get me wrong I love this phone and I can't wait to own one.

@Indianbwoy

Know what you mean about it being difficult to dial with virtual flip, although I've heard that the R2F update makes this easier. What version firmware do you have?

i think a simple adjustment of the virtual flip oculd be made to make the buttons just a little bigger. I dont have that many problems but with a bit better spacing they could make the buttons close to twice the size with decent spacing and then your thumb could be used easily... well unless you;re a tubby bitch
