Am I correct in thinking that in addition to making hardware repairs, Celestica in the UK are also able to offer firmware upgrades. If so, I'm glad I've waited to get my 'hiss' fixed.

I've received an email today from SonyEricsson they told me I can't open attachments because the software doesn't allow this... (duh)..
And they couldn't tell me anything if this was going to change in the future by firmware updates..
@dmgpizen
Why do you think this will never change?
Is it that hard?

Does anyone know
- if there is a Voda specific version of the R1L? apparently Cytech says yes, but could any one confirm?
- if a non Voda version would fit on a Voda phone?
Because I tried upgrading my Voda last week with the non branded version, and that didn't work

(or the guy didn't want / couldn't)...
By the way, did any one try downloading the thing to remove Voda customization from logosunlimited or mobileexchange? I didn't see any report on that?

Where are SE service centres in the UK, and how do I get in touch with them?

Yeah, SonyEricsson UK conveniently leaves out a list of Service Centres from their web-site, however, apparently you can call them on 08705 237237 and ask.

I'm currently testing this, just waiting for my T28 datacable to arrive to try flashing it.
