Does anyone out there pay to receive sms????

One year ago we changed the Message Center number in our phone to the Message Center number of Turkey and all our sms were free!!! After about 6 months, Azercell realised and stopped it, but maybe some of you can still do that...

Here with UK Vodafone, I'm on a plan that doesn't have any free SMS included - only free calls. So I pay 12p per SMS (including VAT). I think it meant to be around 10p without VAT.

What we don't know is the REAL cost. That is what is the cost of living in certain countries. I am lucky as i am on the original genie sim only at 10ukp with 50 off peak mins a day and unlimited sms. Sent 1759 free last month :-) This post was posted from a T68

Your right. They have some problems but I don't care at least they are cheep.

Most of the other countrys SMS is really cheep I think. Just proves that the UK is expensive to live in

Without getting into an economics debate the uk has actually got some of the cheapest deals in the EUand OFTEL regulations prevent prices going up. It is not sensible to compare with the other territories This post was posted from a T68

Only sms is cheap here, everything else is expensive. I pay through my nose for my cell phone line, and it's not even gprs.

No operators support gprs yet and I'm gonna migrate, muahahahahahhaa
