To ruff rider:
Sound memory status is messed up even if you just do the master reset thing without the 13 sec trick., it is a fault of the R1A software, I had the same problem, when I had upgraded my phone to R1L sound memory calculation is back on again.
Also the links to Java games and to Mophun games under Games section in the menu were replaced by the link to the Wallpaper section under SonyEricsson wap site when I did the master reset with R1A software and they are still not changed with the upgrade to R1L...
By the way, after the upgrade to R1L when I sum up everything I have under memory status my T610's memory has 2422 KB which was around 2200 KB before the upgrade... But when I add up the single files (sound, games, pictures etc.) there seems to be an error of around 30-40 KB which should be less, but still with this calculation the memory is up to 2380-2390 KB which is quite good I think...

13 sec trick doesn't work. You can free up exactly the same ammount of memory by doing a master reset and then manually deleting everything that can be deleted (pictures/rings/...).
so, are you saying that after you do a full master reset, the predefined items are then deletable??

-GaZ-: Not all of them, but most of them are deletable. You can't get rid of the ones that are not deletable. Not even with the 13sec trick

I can reveal that the 13 second trick is crap. Here's the score: I did the trick on my phone last night, it gave me loads of free memory (read previous post). I then took all my T610's for software upgrades today. The upgrade (suprisingly) kept all my settings, photos, phonebook, everything exactly the same, i didn't notice a difference in memory either (nothing more added). I then went about deleting all of the crap of my g/f's phone and by the time I finished it was exactly as if I'd done the 13s trick on it, almost everything had gone and it had exactly what my phone had on it last night after the trick.
HOWEVER, these phones are sim free phones that I've been playing around with. I've got 2 T-Mobile T610's but don't want to play about with those as they're gifts for my dad and my g/f's dad. I suspect that network branded T610's have loads more crap uploaded on them and maybe they can't be deleted manually or through master reset, only through 13s trick.
Bottom line, don't do the trick if you've got an unbranded phone (that's my opinion). Oh yeah, the "My Sounds" problem is true: after doing the trick regardless of how much I uploaded into sounds it kept showing up as 0 KB. But luckily the software upgrade sorted this out

.
Does anybody know how I can bluetooth over some games? The 13s trick deleted 5 of a kind and deep abyss and I can't find a way of getting them off my g/f's phone and onto my own. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you have bluetooth, you can just send the games over. In windows explorer: right click file -> send to -> bluetooth -> [your phone]

No BT on my computer yet, but I've got a data cable (which I think is faulty

) and an IR port. I found the games on a website so i can now download them from there and send them to the phone.
Cheers.
