Better translated below
Use filemanager,
Click at the top C:\* - choose D:()
Click DCIM - These are the dir where the DSP-5 saves the files
Click 100MSDCF - Same again - diff cam might have diff dir
Select files buy clicking on icon(not name)
Click Edit
Click Move
Click into folder and select [Media files] - [image] - [unfiled]
Thats it! then go into pictures with the p800 and view your files!
It works for me without a computer! so it must work for you!
if having any trouble just post here again!

@ P800_Zen_master
Well, I have a Sony DSC-P9 still camera that uses a normal Sony Memory Stick.
I have tried to take the Duo stick from my P800 and used it with the adaptor in the camera and taken a few test pictures. Then I put the Duo stick back in the phone and I can not see the pictures I have just taken with the camera. I have the PC File Manager 1.0 from Epocware (the full and paid for version). I also have Tracker installed on the phone (unregistered trial version) and I can NOT see the pictures on the FileMan. Am I doing something wrong here P800_Zen_master and you could be kind enough to explain what I am doing wrong?
I do not even see what you mention in your message:
"Click DCIM - These are the dir where the DSP-5 saves the files
Click 100MSDCF - Same again - diff cam might have diff dir"
It would have been nice to merge the abilities of this to Sony products, the sharp, clear images from the camera and being able to send it over the internet when you are on the go and do not have your PC at hand.

Sony has done this for a very good reason! If they would use the same dir then it would cause conflict issues in there software when they upload to a PC.

I was trying to say here that with the sony DSP-5 camera(thats what I use) uses the dir structure MS:DCIM100MSDCF photos are put here
Now you have a different camera(better!) so it might have a different dir structure, I dont know!
This is so hard to explain over forums..........
I think we must be using different file manager programs. You said you had to pay for it! Mine was free!
post your email and I will send you my version of file manager!
Its just that I know mine works! I have never used PC file manager.
then you would have to follow the step I have stated above with the file manager that I have sent you and it should work, if it doesnt then I will try and do a photo layout on how it is done!

Thanks P800_Zen_master
You can reach me at
halvard@bih.net.ba I am looking forward to try out the filemanager you have.
Maybe this will solve this problem.
Sorry, I forgot to ask, this program you are using, do you have it instaled on your PC or on your phone? It would be nice to have a tool on the phone that could take care of business so you could do it on the go.

so can anyone.. but it's reading from the p800 itself thats the problem.
Surely someone must know about this as a limitation... I'm going to email Epocware - the guys behind the filemanager, to ask them if it might have been possible at design stage to implement the changes to view the alternative file systems.
You never know...
They can't help you, the file manager let you see everything possible. The system doesn't "see" anything above SEMC/P-Series folder, that's the root of D:\. So, DCIM is not visible, because it's above.
You need a PC to move files to the pictures folder, I'm afraid.
