Thanks to y'all. Found it on Orange going for 179.99 quid, though I am not sure if it is network locked or not. Not sure where the one for 159 is though. Can't imagine why Vodafone is selling theirs for 230!

It will be locked if bought from orange. However if you do the contract way that i said above, o2 provide their contract phones completely unlocked

The phone from cyren are pre-registered, i am on orange contract and my contract is going to expire next week, i have requested a PAYG sim to keep my old number, if i buy from cyren can i reregister the phone to my payg sim card(my old number one) or not?

If u r moving onto payg just put in the sim orange send u. They wont be registered together but will work fine. Cant see how cyren insist on pre regisering as u need to give security info inline with data protection. Ask em about that one cos if they send it unregistered u can do a number retention (payg upgrade) ane have it regisered as it should be. Pm me if u need any more help.
