Se phones usesthe industrial standard ir protocol. Thats why you can send stuf to your phone without extra software. Nokia and samsung you need crapy software to send anything to your phone. So dont say every manufacturer user its own standard. I think every manufacturer should use the industrial standard. This message was posted from a T68i

IR sucks ? What a ridicoulus statement.
Like all statements that include the word "sucks" - its so nokiash and illeterate.
I never had any troubles using Ir and never had any use for bluetooth what so ever.
I have a T610 and a P800 with bluetooth - never used it.
It depends on needs - if you have no specific need for attaching bluetooth devices, Ir will do just fine for syncronisation and transfer of pics, polys etc.

@davo
And how many themes would you download for it?
Anyway, it looks pretty good. And it is sooo small. I like the design.
@all
I tried to send pics from v2oo to v2oo. It didn't work. If any1 had done it succesfully, you should share the process with me.

I've always showed interest for every new Samsung mobile. It's the only Asian mobile-maker that gives me the overall feel of quality and careful design. And because their clam-mobiles have usually been silver/metallic (their overall coloring), it gives you the feel of a 'serious'/expensive/business/classy phone.

Seing the TV and magazine ads for their latest, the E700, it made think "Hmm, a bit different than the past ones, but still stylish" (Different, because of the added dark-blue parts), plus that I liked the idea of snapping a continuous series of pictures.

Unfortunately, I changed my mind again, after seeing magazine and www pictures of it from reviews. That particular new addition, the colored part, gives it actually a 'cheaper' feel. Of course, this is always a matter of taste. But in my opinion, this just makes it look more 'plastic' than it should. A Samsung mobile suddenly lost some of it's solid classy look. How sad. I hope they correct this on their future models. And still NO Bluetooth??? Oh no no no!... I don't accept this! ;P On the positive side again, its menus look a bit 'cleaner'...

In all, it's ok. It's not a hit, like some of the past Samsung models, but it's a nice addition to the clam-variety in the mobile market...

PS. As I always say, faithful SE palyaz (like me) and faithful Knockia users, stick to your favourite brand... Asian phones and their menus are still weird and irritating for us!...

PS.2 Bluetooth has always been a basic factor for me on whether I'll buy a new mobile, since I started using it (The most hassle-free communication between my computer and my mobile). Especially after the addition to the T610 of being able to exchange files in FTP-style, I can't live without Bluetooth!...
