I tried the .jar file and it downloads to the phone, but then there is an error when the phone is saving it.

You seem to have misunderstood me. I put in Outlook: 7 appointments a day, five days a week - in other words: a schedule for a week and use the reccurence option in Outlook. Then I sync with T68i and have the appointments in my phone, 5 months at a time, so it doesn't take up too much space in the phone. You'd be really ignorant to claim that punching a weeks worth of appointments straight in to the phone is easier than inserting the same amount of data to Outlook.
And for those who claim that T68i doesn't support reccuring events: it doesn't matter, the events are just transferd as single events by the sync soft.

Calendar and schedule are two different things! Calendar is ment for appointmens/meetings/etc..., schedule is ...well a schedule! Something that remains static. What you are suggesting is like using a drill to hammer in a nail!
I am just wondering how soon someone is going to suggest buying an iPAQ or something, becuase a JAVA app is apparently to simple a solution to be accepted here.

I always put my school schedules in an unsent sms or in a note. This doesn't take up that much memory.

OK, you got me there, I really have tested my solution only with university schedules (thats 3-5 lectures a day) and it works under those sircumstances.
The solution for a schedule of 7 lessons a day could be cutting down the number of months to sync, you don't need to have more than 1-2 months in your phone. The upside of this solution is that you can change the entries an occurence at a time, for example if a lesson is cancelled for 2 days.
