cool !! are you an experienced programmer?
you should do a video recorder app that can record as many seconds you want and store it on the duo..... with audio
if you do that i would be reeeallllyy happy

...it seems difficult though doesnt it?This could take months to complete...

@microneo
if the P900 is coming out with its own video recorder (as i believe)
then the software will already be written or is under construction,
either way, if Philips do not release an alpha version before then, SE should be handing the full video app to us in a few months.
I always fancied a video player that be able to view multiple codecs,
but after seeing how well the cam app plays my .3gps and considering the small file size of these, I would just like to see a dedicated viewer of .3gp and .mp4
If it has the quality of Camcorder without the power drain and ability to keep the light when viewing the films, i would be fairly impressed.

How about writing program that can convert speech to text. in this case, we can just speak our SMSs out instead of going thru the writing and punching of numbers when our hand are not free.
I would be cool also that it has a text to speech conversion where the SMSs is being read out to you.
All you have to do is just use your handsfree and you can 'read' SMS and 'sent' SMS, with a touch of a button, your ears and your mouth.
Wouldn't that be wonderful ?

A spreadsheet app. with good functionality (in C++).
A fully featured Banking program (that does not need AppForge) with full graphical reports & future forecast trending (bit like the old Psion Palmtop Money Programme).
