i don't think SUN charges their subscribers (i happen to be one of them) for wap/GPRS, because they insist that they dont have wap/GPRS and internet(html/www)/GPRS yet. what's the big deal? --> how are they gonna charge a service that they say they don't have yet?

Well, i think it is better to have paid wap that can access all those sites rather than have a free wap that can access just one LAME site in which all you can do is JUST surf in and also download LIMITED objects which also have a COST. Maybe if they'll offer us a paid gprs wap, the price should be reasonable and proportional to the quality of service.
Another point is.. the purpose why we bought our wap/gprs phone is to enjoy surfing wap sites in which globe telecomunications has deprived us.
WHAT'S THE USE OF OUR WAP ENABLED PHONE WITHOUT WAP! It would only be just an ordinary phone.

I just talked to one of their CS last night, binulyawan ko talaga!
Sabi ko sa kanila, ano bang purpose nitong pinag gagawa niyo?!?!? Kung hindi na kayo map papa free gprs, eh di pa bayaran niyo na lang LIKE SMART! Paka sagwa ng WAP site niyo and pang "BOKIA" lang yan eh. Wala akong paki alam kung may bayad basta ang gusto ko magamit ko ang features ng phone ko, now the funny thing is, while I was talking to this guy, my brother kept on shouting "GLOBE BULOK" in the background.
They told me, they're planning to go that way (charge gprs) sabi ko, paki bilisan nga ang mga pinag gagawa niyo ha, hassle kayo eh. And I added to them about the sending of MMS to other networks, and asked them ba't ba kayo nag dadamutan sa sending ng MMS eh binabayaran naman namin ang pagsend? What's the use of having MMS capable phones kung di ko naman masend sa mga friends (province...etc.) ko ang mga gusto kong ishare na pics sa kanila. He replied, those concerns daw ay sa NTC or NEC ba yun? Ayun ba yung nirereportan pag na nakaw phone mo? Gulat ako eh, esato peeps, talaga bang dun ka dapat mag petition to allow these types of services? Or kwentong kutchero ito? Anyway, so far pop3 email is still working using internet apn, kaya lang still won't work in browsing wap.
