I mailed this thread and two other threads about the same, and in the reply he said that he had copy pasted all the ideas and sent them fuhrter!

well lets hope that SE will consider some of the requests here. Of course it would be impossible to implement all of those features mentioned above but some are ok

Ok, hypothetically, let's say SE did take those suggestions and placed them in their new phone (a lot of those suggestions are a bit irrational..but anyway) ...
Would any of you be willing to pay US$2000 for a phone that had all that?
Show me a phone... no.. show me a PC or even a laptop that has all that for under US$2000.
If anyone mentions (well, the new Clie has most of it..blah, blah, blah) well.. the new Clie (or any PDA for that matter) can't even last 1 full day of REAL use... remember, PDAs don't have a transmitter that's on 24/7
In case you're wondering where I got the $2000 figure... add the cost of the Clie NZ90 + the cost of the P800 ..and add the cost of the 'software' features listed (MS Office license, video codec licenses, GPS mapping licenses, etc) ... + the cost of the HPR-20, + cost of higher capacity Li-Pol battery (about US$200), +cost of more internal memory... then subtract the cost of the P800 LCD (about $200)
Or you can do a NZ-90 + cost of Z1010 if you want...then just add the cost of the accessories and software you want.
A lot of the things on the 'wishlist' are already available as 3rd party software (Handy Day like app??? WTF?? Get Handy Day! Better music player?? Unreal Player or Ogg Player) ... if you're too cheap to buy (or too lazy to even download the software) ... then don't buy a phone that has an open OS... DUH!
And don't suddenly add "Must be affordable" or something similar to the end of the wishlist either.

While we are at it...
I wish my P800 could function as a Rolodex, which means the second I get to work, or at home I place it into a cradle, and attaches to a regular phone line. When a call comes thru, it will automatically divert the call to my home or business line, and when I call up a number to be dialed on the screen, it will do so thru the cradle to my land line.

20. Task manager (In the task bar)
21. Handy-Day like SW installed in the phone.
22. Undo Feature
23. Being able to delete multiple contacts at a time.
24. Being able to delete contacts just by pressing “c” in fc mode and going to the file menu in fo mode instead of having to click on the contact then going to the file menu and not being able to delete contacts in fc mode at all.
25. Being able to update firmware ourselves.
26. Improved Music Player with Graphic EQ, Playlist Functions, Skins etc.
27. Icons for different types of numbers for each contact.
28. Profiles
29. Being able to divert calls when in Desk Stand etc.

39. MP3 Ringtones
40. Ability to make ringtones loop without a interval.
41. Being able to STOP a MIDI SMS tune from playing once SMS OPENED!
41. The ability to enter a phone number in a calendar entry. Then when an alarm for that entry goes off, a button is provided to call the number for me? I have conference calls all the time, and set them as appointments or reminders. I'm always having to then manually look up the number and enter it. It should be automatic.
42. For any given phone number in the address book, I should be able to enter an access code (or calling card #?) that should be attached to that number. That way, when I cal that number I can be presented with a button or command to provide the number for me. Today, I have to manually look it up (usually a note within the contact info) and enter it. Frustrating.

69. Camera Flash Attachment (or built flash would be nice

)
for JP
70. More Affordable
Just Kidding Guys!
I know what you are ALL saying! Blah Blah Blah we cant have all of them! But really it is called a WISHLIST for a reason! All of these things are what a Real PDA can do and a $2000 Dollar Price is not bad for what im asking! Most of this stuff aint half bad? And a Handy - Day like app pre-installed in the phone should have been implemented in the phone in the beginning, it would be great for an Official Tracker type app.

I've never seen a PDA make calls DECENTLY. Not without those ugly WIRED headsets (man, what is this? the stoneage??? who uses wired headsets?!?!?!

) Or aftermarket add-ons that increase the bulk of the device.
Nor have I seen a PDA last more than 5 hours of use.
And yes $2000 is reasonable for everything on your list... but that wasn't my question... my question was, would you buy it if it was priced at $2000?
