I dont see u do anything for the p800 community!

And every time i strike back... but u? U live on other mans work :S
And my links work, u dont know me, u dont know what kind of history i have hear on esato.com, esato asked me not to post links/images from my temporary server (a year ago they asked!) and thats why my links wont work!

I can understand your position, but it is not that hard to install a .sis file (which by the way, has been made by me for the p800 community!) which replaces the default icons, it cant get simple as that!

how big are the files and where do i obtain. cheers mate.
where does one d/l the icons. and how do you do it is it hard i may do some icon making if its not to hard.

u don't need the sdk to use the icons just the language pack.by the way,the sdk is the SE development kit need to developp applications for the p800,u can download it free @ the SE site but it is huge,
the language pack is installed when u download a new language from the SE site other thsn the default one already installed on ur phone.U can download the same language already installed on ur p800 just to be able to use the new icons

1. What is SDK UIQ?
SDK UIQ is the free development package from
www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/ this package is 1.2gb!
It installs Java and Perl and Symbian files/tools!
It is included with tools, tools like making a sis file (which i have learned from OOLA!), making a application, making a .mbm, making an .aif file, etc, it has a big documentation, very big
It explains all the stuf u need to know to make an application work!
2.Do i need SDK UIQ to install the icons on my phone?
NO! The SDK UIQ is only if u want to make icons for your phone!
3.What language pack? What do u mean?
When u bought your p800 it had a language installed already, let us call this
default language!
A. U cant install my icons when u have the default language!
B. U can install my icons when u (yourself) have installed a language .sis file from
www.sonyericsson.com (global support, languages)
Language pack? Still confused?
example:
when i bought my p800 i could select from english (UK) and dutch language, i choose the english (UK) language, the english (UK) language is now the default one and three days ago i installed American english, why > i had to do this, why?
Cause when u have the default language installed, u cant replace the original icons, u have to have a language pack installed, when u install a language pack, it creates several files in your p800 c:System map!
There we can replace the files, the icon files are .aif files! It occurs after u installed a language .sis file! And after that u can install my .sis file and it will replace them with my icons!
4.Where can i get/download your icons!?
At this moment several people have my files, only for testing, if it is all working (until now, no problems
), i want to add several icons to it and thats why i did not post it!
Vermania contact me for more information, i know u, and i use your startup videos!

Hello Lance,
Yes sure, no problem, i am going to make a whole new icon set of most useds applications, like freeware stuff and ugly oggplay icon (which i also replaced:))
