I think fijibert is quite within his rights to complain, I mean a short look at the forum and its general guidelines would alert a new user to the fact that they should search first and ask questions afterwards if the search doesn't turn up anything useful.
Having said that, the search really isn't all that good now due to the sheer number of threads, a hefty number of which are full of crap. Can't we just work out a rule between ourselves that any newbie who asks a 'dumb' question is politely told to use the search or has their question answered. There are these continual and pointless debates on this subject, which do bugger all for anybody.
P.S. Yes I relaise that I am fuelling just such a debate, but I'm a hypocrite, so I can

it's not rocket science to click on the link right on top of "discussion forum" here at Esato and then on P800 :/
when I search for info now, I cant find anything cuz u got a million of the same threads
especially when lookin for places to download stuff from (Themes, ringtones, screensavers, games, video clips section)
"where do I get games from? I tried google"
well buddy, I dunno bout u, but when I look for games I type in google " games" and I get results..
it's not like their problems r so stressful and urgent that they dont hv time to search
if the problem is like "help, I lost all my contacts and my phone wont boot"
that's a bit more understandeable
but questions like "can the P800 go on the internet"
I mean come on....

thats what i started posting here for.
so lets stop this crap about swearing at the new members, being extremly unhlepful, and lets actually answer their questions and point them to the bloody search after. it'll sure as hell cut down on these crap threads with us all arguing... these are probably the ones that are stopping new members from finding thier answers.
