plz,could some one plz be kind enough to tell me how to format my t610 so i can specifically get the original icons, thats all i am interested in, not free space, as i read in other threads.
p800 had a format code somewhere does, t610 possess such.

The T610 does not have the same format option that the p800 has. The only thing you can do is a master reset (last option of settings menu) which returns the phone to its initial empty state removing all content.
It will not, however, change the icons that are displayed for the various options in the phone if thats what you mean by icons.

master mute works on java anyway. .so if i do not want to irritate others press and hold c before playin;)

Go to edit shortcuts and then change the shortcut whichever menu you want! Then choose the position as '1'. That might help you!
