no, you don't have to upgrade with every release. if its difficult to get to a service centre then just upgrade when you have a problem, like now.

yes you wil pay after the warranty runs out

for the firmware changes so far look at the R2C link that both wrath000 and I gave you earlier in this thread.

Indeed almost all you have asked is available if you search the forums so please do so.

@gjl79 - stop moaning about your phone freezing & fix it by upgrading the s/w. I take it you've not had an before!?!

T68i froze aswell - thats why they improve the s/w & upgrade your phone for free.

Most phones freeze now-a-days, so get used to it.

well look, I've answered all your questions politely even though most could be found with search, but you keep asking about service centres and I told you of one in the same county as you and also told you of the SE number to call to find out about others but then you come back and ask if there is one near you but still not saying where you are in any more detail than the county! (deep breath!)

So, which town are you in, not that I will probably know any other service centres suitable for you, but maybe I can do a search on esato and find one
