I like the way that se handsets are not identical, but still recognisable. Nokia are so so. But with ngage-gear and others they are moving away from their 5110 layout which they have used for years. Evolution is a wonderful thing. This message was posted from a T610

Also the idea of a flip covering a part of a larger than usual screen obviously comes from the sony people. I can imagine a meeting in which the Ericsson people try to hold back the flip and the tansparent thing on the p800 came out as compromise. Ugly. Without it the P800 is really nice, with the flip it loks like a 'i can't decide' thing.

I think this is really not true.... Ericsson allready used a similar system, a flip who covers a great part of the screen and touching a touchscreen to use it... the R380... it was also a Symbian phone and with 2mb ramn and using a stylus like the one one the P900 Nothing new in fact

The P800 is only a child of the meeting of a T68 and a R380.. only the jog dial was not Ericsson.

Ok, it's a mix of that Ericsson and that Sony. That's why it's a Sony Ericsson!!

Price is a tad different

Z7 = £2.57

P900 = £430
