i agree with a couple of others..
it's basically ugly.
closed it looks ok, but open it's junk - looks retro almost (besides the screen)

Man that is the kind of phone I'm talking about. CDMA2001X actually is available here in Canada & the USA, mostly more widely accepted and used in the USA, because of its technology rights holder and founding company, Qualcomm, is based there.
Unfortunately the bigger players here in Canada are Telus & Bell (the former has a landline based phone service in the west end while, maBell as we call it here for Bell own landline based phone lines, a monopoly nationwide) are making big sales with CDMA2001x phones. Rogers & Fido still on the GPRS status which keeps me satisfied, but sucks because CDMA1000x has a faster data speed than GPRS - in realworld usage.
I love that phone though and hope that one for Tri-Band GPRS/EDGE will be made available, as that scroll wheel must me extremely functional for one handed use!
Remember peeps that style doesn't mean much for a product you own unless its functional.
PS for all you Europe blokes, is 3G phones using SIM cards???

yep it has flash, nice you don't have to spend money on a seperate flash
but I still don't get it why doesn't SE give us such a phone I mean it's 50:50 japan european, nokia has better phones in europe, siemens too but nooooo SE has to have better phones in m*therf*cking japan

looks no better than my 3G NEC e606.....nothing special.
surprised its so big considering the Japanese market favour smaller phone designs.....someone didnt do their homework at SE....will be as successful in Japan as the Xbox and they wont be able to shift the overstock to Europe.

Nah......most of the Japan phones are quite big in size and most of them weight more than 110g. So this SE phone is not huge at all........very good in size!
