Got mine today! from allglobaltk). 1st impressions are that that this is it!! I've had every phone/pda and this is by far the best yet. it fits well in the hand, the screen is excellent, the keyboard is far far superior to the P800.

In summary WOW

@Pachy...You are quite right....my little gripe was just down to my rushing with the phone....Bluetooth is fine between the P800 and P900 phones....I did not set the P800 to discoverable to initially set the bonding of the two....

Overall I am very very pleased with P900...

Small update on the Video recorder communicorder....
The video making section of the program has two versions....the video version...which creates smooth pictures with sound....and the message video which creates the Juddery effect of pictures...I guess not taking as much information when sending them to emails and friends phones.....quite clever....almost like a 3 network phone lol...

@smilerthecheshirecat, OK nice idea that video thing, reminds me of the T68i MMS pics automatically reducing in size to save on Mb's,
Now i know why some P9 reports on video quality are good & some are not so good.
Your mentioning of it being similar the the 3G system is a point i have been wondering about, i still think GSM has some way to go, maybe even (due to cheap costs, & users not being keen to adopt it) outlast 3G DARE i say ????

Nah, 3G will take over, but it will take a good while. As manufacturers make more and more 3G phones, and 3G can provide much better content (do we really need all that in a mobile phone? ), 3G will eventually become more widespread then GSM, and then the GSM days will be numbered....

@wrath000, Well that was the original plan, but as technology has the habit of surprising us now & then, what i realy meant by "GSM may even outlive 3G" is that a new standard may well be writen making 3G so short lived that it never has the chance to dominate mobile connections. after all its still all about SIGNAL & that issue wont go away with 3G, i live in the busy southeast of UK, but if i bought a 3G phone/connection tomorrow, it would offer me nothing extra than i get with GSM, simply because of signal, some areas will never have a video signal.

@pachy
You make a good point, and I see what you mean, however the phone companies have made such a huge investment in 3G that they will probably be very reluctant to give it up for a new standart without a fight...
