My mate ordered one a few days ago, and was told that there was a delay on stock and he'd get it in about 2 weeks.

The day after they called him and told him to expect it this Tuesday instead.

Nah, the £50 a month is for 4 months minimum, so the phone is basically £269 - then it's back to my normal tariff.

So factoring the money I'll make on selling the P800 (around £250) and taking out the money I'd normally spend on my tariff (£30-£35 per month) it's a good deal.

Why would someone pay you £250 for your P800? Surely they'll just do what you did?!

@spc

Don't forget that people are fickle, and often want to change phones mid contract. Therefore a SIM free phone is worth a lot more on the open market.

For Example:

I've done exactly the same, bought from onestop and got mine on ebay.

I figure if i get the £300 for both the phone and the HBH60 then i am ok, that covers the £69.99 the p900 has cost me and the 4 months at £50

under normal curcumstances I would never even bother with a contract as I don't make that many calls - my o2 prepay with unlimited wap,gprs and text @ £10 topup per month is fine and dandy, but as it works out that the p900 is basically gonna cost me £270 then i couldn't turn it down - consider it 4 months finance with 400mins free calls a month chucked in!

BTW if you put your phone on ebay, dont expect many bids until the last few hours! Mine has been on there 3 days, has 9 hours to go and still only at £102.01 - but all the others are the same - last few hours and bidding goes crazy!

@ grex theres no need for you to feel quilty if you told the truth my friend as honesty is the best policy, however i feel guilty that i have ordered a P900 without first selling my P800, but thats life. This message was posted from a P800

The whole thing with the "is it 3 months or is it 4 months?" is because dealers get their commission paid on the 120th day of your contract and because of your particular billing date on your new contract varing depending on when you sign up they say 4 full months to be safe! Now my heads hurts and i need to lie down!
