I've cought myself wiping off my phone quite a few times after painting it black.
It's a high gloss piano finish paint so basically every little fingerprint showes.
But I tell you; it looks fab after a quick wipe with my t-shirt!

What you described is a symptom of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, not Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder. However, merely one symptom will not suffice to establish a valid diagnosis, therefore you can say you have obsesive-compulsive traits (if you feel like calling yourself anything like that).
Should your compulsions persist to the point that they interfere with your professional or social functioning, then I would recommend seeing someone.
