No offense to the creator of this skin or anything but why would I want my P800 to be like windows xp? I mean it crashes enough as it is.

It's not good enough to be shared.. it's full of small bugs and really not easy to use. Even for a free skin will it be not good enough to downloading it.

Bring nothing new to the existing other skin and there is a better free XP-look-a-like skin. But you can find it on the classic "free" site

i would really like to see less of the windows XP skins.. we've had about 20 already. i think we've passed the "making phone look like a PC" stage and we'll probably move on to the "lets all make matrix skins" stage. in which we'll have 30 more skins that all look the same.

The updated version is getting there and I like what Dondula is doing... A lot of plp are impressed with the XP look when they stare at my phone.. Wether or not it works it still looks like an XP platform.. I think that was the intended purpose of the skin. The functionality of clicking the "start" button to access the BT features was a plus as well. I'm sure it can only get better.. But DD was right there is nothing like it out there now.. They all may have cool looking themes, but none of them actually attemp to function like the OS they are simulating. So if you don't like Win XP then don't bother.

There are allready several skins who looks liek XP !! But not using those much to small and useless icons, that's true, the other are better on that point..; loll

BTW
There nothing special about that 'start' button.. there is no real menu pop-up, it just a link to a new page! The prove? your icons are gone when you click "start".
He used a background for a new page, that looks like a menu pop-up of XP, i did almost the same in tracker2 !
And there he puts standard function of Tracker3/P800 to make it looks like a menu...it's a cheat
That's skin is just made of a lot of frame (or pages) maybe 5, where it only looks to be 2....and that's why it does work soooo slooowwwww...

There's been 3 revisions since its release... There was one released just today 11-17-03.. I tried it out and it's a tad bit better then the previous 2 releases... There are more functionality added to it.. It would be helpful if there was a version history on it though... I have 3 copies of 3 different revisions of it and it's a bitch trying to figure out what the improvements are.. They are suttle improvements, but yet again a revision history would be great.
