I was on the train home from Kings cross yesterday and there was this 50+ man sitting a few seats away holding a nokia 6610 ( i think - the big golden / silver one with a blue screen) he could see me but was busy reading the evening standard - i tried bluejacking him but just as he noticed im taking out my P800 the bugger did something on his phone and i could not discover him!!!!
I suppose he read the times or bbc and knew what i was up2!!!

i think bluejacking is not a serious thing, that's why a 13 old kid does it.

I was having a laugh in a shopping centre outside Glasgow the other day waiting in a q for a cash machine, managed to 'jack a guy infront of me in the q. I waited till he got to the machine, and then watched him type in his PIN, I then sent, "Can I have £20 pls, you PIN is **** incase you forget!"
To say he looked scared does not come close..LMAO

I hope you didn't *really* catch his PIN and send it - that's the sort of stuff that will give us a really bad name, dude.
As for the Times article - the reporter has a point about the possibilty of bluejacking causing offence. Elsewhere here I've expounded on the theoretical applications of the Misuse of Telecommunications Act, and the Protection from Harrassment Act with regards to bluejacking, blah blah, boring but sadly true. I had a chat with Ellie about this a while back to voice my legal concerns and was glad to see she put a disclaimer on her website saying "be nice, else if you get shafted for *not* being nice, don't come running to me !" In not so many words.

So I can't see how those who accuse her of perpetuating a stalker-like phenomena can justify saying that.
I think a lot of the people who knock bluejacking websites and groups and the publicty the whole thign is getting are just jealous that they didn't think of the idea first !
I do wonder if ajack shouldn't make more of a presense of himself though - he did invent it afterall. Credit where credit is due.

No I ain't stupid, I sent ****, although it has to be said, I did see his PIN, most people are so bad at protecting there security. Thing is now he'll make sure he covers hi hand while he's putting his PIN into the machine.
