Unlike most other kids, I studied hard in school. Went to a good uni, got a good degree, then got a good job with fat paycheck. Did well, got promoted, and got more $$$. Gained respect and recognition in workplace, got promoted again and got even more $$$. All that plus a gorgeous and rich girlfriend, that's how I pay for my mobile phones.

or is it?

Having a job that pays me rediculous amounts of cash and gets me freebies from various people helps a lot I would highly recommend getting one

My dad usually give me his old phone when he's done with it and he change phones, like, every 6 months. Not the case this time though 'cause he's using a t68i while I have the t610

I was in the military, saved my money, reinvested it.
For some reason I buy each phone outright, and then whack in a pre-paid SIM, it's funny seeing the girl at the counter ask me why I use pre-paid when i can afford the latest mobile.

Since my first phone I've had a rule of keeping each phone for at least a year. Changing more often than that doesn't make sense IMO. I also always sell my previous phone to the store to get refund. Oh yeah, operators not having a say in selling phones in my country (law fordbis locked phones for limiting customer options) makes things easier too.
