@jomni
tama ka, maski ako nagtataka kung bakit may mga lumipat sa ibang network na ang dahilan lang naman e yung blocked sites. Smart never offered access to these sites for free in the first place, so Globe was offering something better before.

Of course, the smart addict plans were something else.

wap is expensive. i'd rather go online at home or at an internet cafe.

i only use wap when necessary, like checking/sending email(yahoo) and checking movie skeds(clickthecity). and they're still accessible for free with globe.

if the apn internet.globe.com.ph is only for postpaid, then how can prepaid users fully enjoy globe's gprs since it is limited only to their site and yahoo.I understand that most of the globe users here are postpaid so from their point of view,Globe in general is okay.I use both networks(globe for game downloads and yahoo only)/Addict Mobile(surfing other sites) although my primary network is of the latter. From experience, for Smart in general, prepaid users do enjoy mostly the benefits of Smart Gold in general as long as may "load".

And as i repeat, Smart CS really calls you back re your queries even if you are a prepaid user. This small service may not be important to you but for the many, it matters most. I am sure, Globe does this to post paid users; what about the prepaid?

If only Globe opens its access to all just like year 2002...e di masaya lahat diba (ex t68/i users!!!!the good old days).Walang ganitong thread.
Dyak mawatan!!!!!!!!!!!

Globe has just repositioned its two prepaid products.

Starting January 1, 2004, all calls will be on FLAT RATES. meaning NO MORE peak and off-peak rates.

Advantages:
Use the Touch Mobile brand if you...
1) make cellphone-to-cellphone calls more often
(P6.50 on ALL cell-to-cell calls)
* Globe Prepaid charges P7.50 on calls to other cellular networks
2) often check your Voice Mailbox
(only P3.00 per minute)
* Globe Prepaid charges P6.50 per minute on Voice Mailbox
3) need lower denominations for reloading
(P25 available on Autoload and P200 call card also available)

Use the Globe Prepaid Plus brand if you...
1) often use your cellphone to make NDD calls
(only P7.50 on NDD calls)
* Touch Mobile charges P9.50 on NDD calls
2) need access to GPRS
3) like to download polytones, MMS pics, etc.

wow.. i think Sun cellular is maximizing the capabilitites of a gsm network. i think sun cellular yung una or sila lang talaga yung nag advise sa subscribers nila na i activate yung area/cell info ng cell phones natin.. pero i dont know much about area/cell info..

sun is very agressive.. wtg!
