Its not necessary that only stolen phones are blacklisted. Sometimes your sim/phone may not be able to perform the hlr updates with netwrk provider's HLR. In such cases the hlr/switch denies all services to that sim/phone. I've seen the \"invalid mobile\" msg on the T610 and T65 here in India. IMHO its unlikely that your phone's imei is blacklisted. Check with O2 first.
