I posed the question about firmware vs DUO Pro support on the DUO Pro/P900 compatibility thread.. Now that my question has been answered maybe the Pro support has been implemented.. Better yet, does anyone have a Pro handy to test???

concerning the bluetooth problem (bug), my P900 would not work when I tryed the first time. I have a T68i and a T610 and I tryed to discover my P900 from both and it just wouldn't appear to be visible. I changed the settings several times and it didn't work. It worked the other way arround so I could send files FROM my P900 to others.
I was convinced that I had "the bug" and was waiting for a FW update... and I tested again a couple of days ago... IT WORKS!!! And it has been working ok...

How long did it take? Think its possible via Dial up?
I already have the f/w in question
Had phone flashed via CPW no duo support. Tried my 256pro Duo.

you can do it through dial up as well... according to the
FAQ it takes ~35min on a 0.5Mbit/s connection
the update site can be accessed on
http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice/P900/frameset.htm as well.

0.5Mbit would be 512k though surely?

Hi there,
It states that " If you have the latest version (R1A05) there is no need to perform an update, unless you are experiencing a problem with your phone." My P900 has the latest FW. Do I still need to update or not? any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
thanks, keith
