Greetings everyone,
Perhaps there was a little misunderstanding about GPRS and WAP here, although Merkur has explained to you all and to the original poster as well.
WAP can run over GPRS or CSD network. CSD (Circuit Switched Data) is probably the one that the original poster use.
I think the application will still run on the CSD network, but the CSD charges are based on how long are you connected to (time-based) while GPRS charges are based on how much data are you sending/receiving during the connection (in byte).
