the vrally2 it comes with only lets you play 3 circuits
so in essence it's really just a demo

also the back mirror is very hard to keep clean (cos it's convex shaped)!

The T630 is smaller than the T610, so no.

I bought the T630 yesterday and let me tell you my first impressions.

The screen, although it's TFT, is not as good as I first though it would be. The backside of the phone is exactly the same texture as the T68i if you remember. The whole device could be an Apple, it would have the same design (very near to the iPod!)

The keyboard it very "squary". Too square. And one thing I don't like much is the backlighting. Before I had the phone, I could see purple/while and bluish backlights on the pictures. But the backlight is white purple and in the dark, the backlighting of the square keys are so strong that the screen doesn't look as bright as it is, because your eyes are focused by the keyboard.

The keys are very comfortable to use, because of their square shape. The Operating system is slow compared to a Nokia but fast compared to a T68i.

The preloaded themes are very ugly but as far as I know you can change them. Note that I had no T610 before. I think that the T610 looks much more professional than the T630 does, especially in regard to the keyboard.

I'm now trying to sell my T630 (but only in Switzerland!) because I'm a bit disappointed of it.

its smaller?
ok according to SE the t610 is 102x44x19mm
while other sites say that the t630 is 102x43x17mm
but these slight changes could depend on the cover being smaller?
i always thought that the chasis were identical

No, i can tell you that the T630 is NOT smaller than the T610. But due to its white color, it just seems less bulky than the T610 does.

ts_666 has the correct details from the various web sites (which I have just checked) so the T630 is slightly smaller based on those dimensions. I got the details from the following pages...

but like i said, the difference in size could depend on the cover, maybe the thickness of each of the covers is 1mm less, or summin...

The phone looks better in real life and quite solid. The main difference is the tft screen. Other than that i cant see a reason for someone to change from t610. I cant evaluate the rf performance yet cause i own it only few hours This message was posted from a T630
