I agree with you guys, I missed it on my T610. I had really gotten used to it from my T68 and my T39 before that.
My P900 now supports it though, but I remember getting frustrated sometimes with the other phones. Keep in mind though, the T610 got a "resume wap?" option if you got a call while using the browser, but T68 and the ones before could resume no matter what.
