Sorry mate I was trying to explain form and function. The P900 is a SmartPHONE not a PDA with communication added to it. This is why the P900 is smaller and has much better battery life (a subject you have avoided).

So you think P900 is better than XDA II ?

Common man... did you ever used both?

PPC = Windows = All of the time resets = stuck with shit forever... please comeback if they have a decent OS.

What resets ? You dont have to.
Its the best OS. Its better than Symbain.
UIQ has 400 apps WOW !
You get a descent OS.
P800/P900 are supposed to be Phone/PDA's.
XDA II is a PDA and a phone, with a much better OS than Symbian
What about the "Death Triangle" ?

With PPC you don't have to reset it... it does that automaticly for you on every moment you never wanted it to do that.

UIQ is now almost 365 days available on a device like P800/P900.

Microsoft is doing that for what say about 3 times that time....

I used Qtek 2020... and I own a P900... must say the full screen camera function is the only + on a 2020 from the P900 the rest is - for 2020 and it has more - than P900.

That is a bunch of crap! I have every app I could ever wish for on my P900. Be more specific in your critism and say which programs you miss for UIQ.

> UIQ devices have small screens compared to PPC's.
Bigger screen = bigger device = more powerconsumption = less handy to carry around

> P800/P900 storage card is Memory Stick Duo which is rubbish and expensive compared to SD/MMC or compact flash.

Memory Stick Duo is a perfect choise for me since I own a Sony Z1 laptop which MSD interface. The prices is going down now that Lexmark and other manufactures are starting to produce them too. And the amount of devices you can use MSD is bigger now than SD/MMC. What do you mean by saying that "MSD is rubbish"?

> P800/P900 sync is rubbish too. Nothing compared to ActiveSync with outlook 2002.

Why? What makes it better? I love the design of the syncstation for P800/P900 and it works flawless with my Outlook 2003.

Be more specific with your critism instead of saying that PPC is better than UIQ. It's like saying that green is better than red.

looks like you have not used p900 - never had a TOD. Also you are still avoiding the issues of size and battery life.

No it does not restart. It only restarts if you soft reset or hard reset.

it does that for you on every occasion when the device likes it...
another thing... not yet any good virus scanner for PPC... they seem to get infected 2...Symbian OS still hasn't such problems!
