I got my P900 as my company phone and i have had it replaced due to the sides coming lose. I work in the retail side of Orange and have noticed quite a few similar problems.
Dont worry i will be passing all the feedback to the sony reps!!!

The phone is sublime, but it amazes me that of all things that would creak on it would be clip on sides i.e. non moving parts.
My P800 is as soild as anything and build quality should not have been overlooked on the P900.

Guys,
My orange p900 has started to get really squeky and creaky recently after about a weeks usage and i'm dreading it starting to get worse. My o2 p900 never did this so i cant help thinking that orange should really be doing something to fix it, however when i called them up they said that unless it impared the functionality of the phone that they wouldnt swap it over. Has anyone else experienced this problem particularily with orange and what has their responce been to replacing/fixing it?
Thanks
A.

I haven't experienced anything that severe, just a small squeaking on the keypad, but Orange's response is pretty much standard. Unless your phone can't be used they don't give a monkeys about it.
To be fair to them it would cost them a huge amount of money if they were to replace every phone that made a creaky noise or had a small scuff on it. I know that it can be very annoying, as I said, the keypad hinge on my P900 makes a very small squeaking noise, which drives me demented sometimes, but there isn't a lot one can do about it; unless of course, that is, one were to 'loose' one's phone or have it 'stolen' wink wink nudge nudge

I have just returned my 4 weeks old P900 to get that creaking fixed! My phone creaked even when used, both from the sides and from the keyboard-hinge!
I also had a dead pixel in the display... (Main reason for repair!)
