why not just buy one of those fishermans waistcoats? you know the ones with all the pockets. plus it will look better you can get them in fashionable army style camouflage.

Are you serious??? You actually dumped on my PF case over this and said it was “non-functional” This case ONLY fits a Pxxx phone with FLIP OFF. Try to dial a number with the flip off while driving or better yet with one hand. Moreover, how do you take pics with your P900 without a cam peep hole? I can actually store my memory sticks plus the adapter in my PF case. Its only a matter of a couple weeks before I get P900 PF case w/ the added money clip. I think hands down that the case has more functional use then that Vaja. However, sleek that Vaja looks I think it only better suites a pda/pocket pc. That’s something I’d get for my Clie or HP/Compaq pocket pc not the P900.

futhermore most of my calls are made using voice dial via my blue tooth headset and i prefer to use my phone flip off any way as its easier to watch movies with out a bif flip in the way i have no problems dialing numbers with the virtual flip i have adapted wonderfully to it and can dial numbers easily and efortlesly. the vaja case has holes in all the right places the duo drive on off and irda port etc etc also i have an adapter in the pocket under the duo slots. the p/f case is ok but lacks style and makes the phone BIGGER!

Fair enough. I eluded to a statement that you made earlier about the PF case not being ‘functional’. From what you described the PF case has all of the open button access features (Cam button, memory card slot opening, IrDa opening, recorder button opening, memory stick slots, large slot underneath the memory stick slots) plus more. Including the Cam viewfinder opening. So again how do you suppose the Vaja was more functional? More stylish maybe, but stylish for a PDA without the functionality that the P900 offers (keypad flip + camera).
Moreover, when choosing your case you have to understand its principle purpose is to protect the phone. Hopefully at all times. For instance, if the phone were to slip out of your hand while taking a pic would be assed out because it wasn’t in the case at the time. I have had the phone slip out of my hands plenty of time while using it due to unforeseen circumstances. Luckily I had the phone in the case during usage. Moreover, you still cannot use the phone with one hand because you obviously would have to depend on the other hand to wield the stylus. I also use BT for voice dialing and such, but try dialing a number use see on a bulletin board while driving. I can dial a phone number with my eyes closed using the keypad flip. Try doing that on the virtual keypad. That’s why there’s a little bump on the center button (5) so one could feel their way for the numbers they need to dial. That’s an added plus that most PDA/mobile phones (ie O2, Motorolla, etc..) do not offer at all. Again, just keep those options in mind and ask your self if you truly are using a pda case or a case that allows one to utilize all functions of the P900 while offering protection at the same time. So why protect your phone some of the time and not all the time? Some of the time might just be too late when you most need it covered.

i dont care if my handset falls i ahev acomprehensive insurance cover which replaces my handset within 24hrs as i have two p900 i would not be in convininced. and i have no trouble dialing one handed on a p900 with virtual flip alas i canoont do it one handed with eyes closed but then again if i see a number on a bulletin board i use the voice recorder.
i am not loosing the main functions of a p900 as i prefer it with out flip and to me it looks better and thinner not to mention lighter. and i have not lost camera functionability as i said before i can pull the phone out of the case as easy as i can out of my pocket its a technique i have developed whilst using the vaja case. end of the day a case is a case what suits you is best and i like vaja you like the more common pf so my advice to you is you go girl!
