gadget dude, it sounds lika a great idea, bur have you tried even viewing some ppt documents on the phone? I haven't, but I tried word-docs.... and guess what, it crashes! (most of time, ecspecially if trying to view anything bigger than 150 kb..)
Just me having this problem?

BTW: Some one before said pressing menu, then # then 9 brings up the connections (IR BT) which it doesnt on my phone. I press 0 instead, so wondering what you guys have on the 0 button instead. Would also like to know if theres a way to change these shortcuts?

Hi,

A got my P900 yet, and have a few questions.

I use the infrared to synchronise because the "phone connection link" couldn't find the connection when I use the "sync station". Any suggestions?

Is it me or is the p900 pc suite really such a limited/small program. I expected something like a "file manager" where I can drag and drop my contacts/files/mps/pictures...

Please inform me,
Thanks in advance

About the pressing # then 9 for BT and IR, this is # then 0 on mine too as 9 is taken by "My Services" from o2.
As for the animated backgrounds mine will work in flip closed but not in flip open. Also how much effect will this have on your battery life?

Do you all know about the shortcuts available by pressing the bottom icons in flip open/removed mode?
1 - Press the signal bars --> Flight Mode on/off
2 - Press the speaker then settings --> Control panel Sounds&Alerts
3 - Press the clock then view -->Alarms (obvious one)
4 - Press the battery then settings --> Control Panel Display settings
5 - Press battery --> Lock Screen (this can be done at any time in any app even if the phone is busy doing something. It will carry on as normal but the screen is locked)

1. To hide your number before you call someone just press; #31# 2. to change the delay time before your phones answer machine kicks in press; d**61*07973100123*11*30# the last two digits between the * and the # symbol can be altered from 5 seconds upto 30 seconds only, the above example is set for the maxium delay of 30 seconds, the default setting is 15 second, so depending on how quick you want your answerphone to kick in enter 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30. unless i am very much mistaken. Guys, the
"Hidden service menu

turn jog dial up * jog dial down jog dial down * jog dial down * "

Thing doesn't work on my p900. The Network lock one does, but the service menu one doesn't. Is there a known problem with this/something wrong with my phone?

I have been using my animated backgrounds on my phone n it looks excellent... the battery life has not been affected that badly... i would personally say about 10-20%...

It does look good, but mine only seems to work in flip closed and not in flip open..
Just thought id share this information with you.

Tip... Hold the menu key while the flip is closed and you get the application list...
