you can start by:
1. Visiting the Sonyericsson P900 site
2. Testing it in the shops
3. Reading P900 reviews around the net, such as those found here on esato, or at my-symbian.com

Heya Nokia Rokia... here are some helpful links you might want to investigate:
SonyEricsson P900 website
My-Symbian UIQ Applications and games
Unofficial Club SonyEricsson's P900 page full of useful info
Just to clarify a couple of things:
1 --> The P900 runs on the Symbian 7.0s operating system (it's like Windows for a phone.) UIQ is the 'interface' loaded on top of Symbian (it deals with how the screen looks as well as some preloaded software such as the music player or video player).
2 --> Symbian 7.0s (the operating system) has support for C (a programming language) games and JAVA (another programming language) games. Although, most pefer the C games because they have better sound effects and graphics and some even 3D capability.
3 --> There are also emulators available for the P900 that 'emulate' console devices such as the GameBoy, NES or SNES. You have to install these emulators on the P900 and then you can play these games.
4 --> The P900 isn't really suited for persons who just want it for gaming. It's actually more a PDA (personal digital assistant) and a phone combined in one. It has a host of PIM (personal information management) features as well as productivity software. A more suitable phone for persons looking for an exclusive gaming device, might be the Nokia N-Gage.

Hope this helps you with some of your queries.
And oh yea, to the guys posting sarcastic comments to here, just keep in mind we all had to start somewhere. It's better to be 13 and have a basic idea of what's going on than to be 29 and still have no clue what the difference between 3G and 2.5G is. I can now see why so many people are frustrated with esato, because in stead of help you get flamed to death.

@nokia rokia:
Did you know you can open the P900 flip and say "Beam me up Scotie" and actually be beamed to the Enterprise ?!
Also, whe you purchase the p900, be sure to get a program called HAL900. This enables your phone to talk back to you. Be sure to have the flip open whenever you start a conversation.
