@marksury ... you use it for 2 hours every day, and charge it only a couple of times a month? Is that 2 hours standby a day! As it cant be talktime surely.

I bought a £36 Bluetooth Headset from The Link called the Blue-Mini (Made by Kondor). I know of Kondor's reputation amongst some people as being cheap and cheerful but this Headset is superb! Very Very small and comfortable on the ear, about the same size as the HBH-65 and with brilliant sound quality! Only has 4 hours talktime but for someone like me thats more than enough! Dead impressed with it and more than a little glad I didnt shell out over a hundred quid on a SE one when this one does at least as good a job.

I'm using the HBH-60 and haven't had any problems... yet. Those who are having problems should probably update their firmware.

I'm already on the latest available from the on-line update (R2B02). In fact when I did the firmware update the problem seemed to get worse..!

Agree with you all. P900 is not a great BT-handler. My old P800/HBH-60 seemed to be a lot more stable team than my present P900/HBH-200. Can only hope for some firmware upgrade. It seems the phone is transfrring calls to the headset when it feels like doing so, and voice control is rather voice not-control. Ability to make call from a call list in the headset display would be great! Comfort and sound is superb though, but why don't they make somewhere to fasten the earplug when not in the ear? Like on the cheap and simple wire-headset!

to answer the unanswered part of your question, yes, the caller name is read out (based on how you have recorded it in the voice dial) through your BT (or wired) headset when the call comes in.
if you have activated voice answering, you can also speak the command to accept or reject the call based on what you recorded in the respective settings.

@Redtooth
Those 2 hours are mainly standby time on the commute to and from work. Hope this clears my earlier comment about charging intervals?

I’m glad I haven’t read too many recommendations for the HBH-200 on this thread. Despite the apparent consensus that SE BT headsets have hiccups with the P900 at least they don’t have feature hang-ups like the HBH-200. I have been using my BT headsets interchangeably. I haven’t run into the connection issues more then I had with my P800. Moreover, the non-SE headsets seem to fair a bit better (from personal experience). I have been using my HBH-65 recently and I haven’t had connection issues once. So this thread needs best to be set as a poll for “preferred BT headset”. All BT headsets should connect in the same manner. Therefore, there is no BT headset that is technically better then another when evaluated within those parameters. Everything else relies on the headset’s quality in cosmetic design, vocal/auditory processing technology, and comfort. I’m personally fascinated by the Bluespoon Digital because it has a true noise canceling feature and a digital speech processor. It’s a ‘one of a kind’ BT headset. The manufacturer has re-released its predecessor with some improvements (repositioned button access) and there’s word that those same cosmetic improvements will be implemented to the digital line as well.

@ghoonk Thanks for answering my questions, it has only convinced me further to buy the Moto headest
@marksurry ... thanks that explains it
@BigFeat ... What do you mean by "Moreover, the non-SE headsets seem to fair a bit better"
and then you say ... " Therefore, there is no BT headset that is technically better then another when evaluated within those parameters"
Please clarify.. Thanks!

The P900 pisses me off when i use the HBH-200, At first i thought the problem was from the HBH-200 , not until i used it on my T68i, I had no connection problem at all never missed any call, made calls using the redial on the headset, battery life okay. I think se should sort this problem out cos now i dont feel like using my p900 again, I think i will get a T610 sometime next week, cos the P900 is no good with se bluetooth headsets.
