i dunno, but in my experience t610 too is rather slow compared to t39m. t610 is just a slow phone when you try to access the menu, especially when you want to open the sms mailbox and send sms. it takes quite some time after you pressed the continue button to choose either contacts or number...
i think nokia is way faster .... sorry guys ...

Then dont use large gif files.That's making the phone slower and than it freezes. Just dont overload the phone then.
