an update for you guys: officer comes to work at 4pm today (thats in about 3 and a half hours) im gonna give him a call or visit him at the office let him know everything how we have eye witness to who stole the phone blah blah blah... i just hope the kid knows what is smart for him and returns it, if i don't get it back and nothing happens to him, i will personally $%&#%@* $#%& him and send him to hell

The best thing to do is if the law wont help you is if you got the money and know a few dodgy people is get him knee capped that way he wont steal again and every time you see him you can justice will have been served

Hm, how old are you? From what I get (I mean no offense if I am wrong), it sounds like you are either in some kind of college and over 18, or about 14?

You said that you ARE in the states? Hm, I live in the US and I used to live in California.

While I don't feel very good about this (hey, I was young and VERY stupid, sort of a problem child), I used to be in the same boat as that other kid. Now, I'm not sure how it works at your school, but I don't know if there is anything you can do (if you can, then by all means, I say GO FOR IT!!!).

When I used to do this, it involved video games. The school would always say "Since you brought it to school with you, we cannot be responsible for it". However, since you have an eyewitness and the cops are involved, this may turn out different for you. I sure hope that you get your phone back. Best of luck to you.

By the way, I didn't "get out of this" because I was caught, I simply realized that this was wrong, and that I would feel awful if this happened to me. Kind of a personal revelation, if you will.

well i think he's in the hs range because he was worry because the kid was a senior. but here's the deal wth talking to the police and to his mom. make sure u bring ur friend that saw the kid with the phone in his hands. always be nice. dont be mean because it'll be frustrating for them to react to u and when u get loud it will just steer them away from u more. and if all that doesnt seem to work, u and ur friends haunt him until his ends of days. or just beat the living shiet out of him i say.

its 4 now should be talking to the cop now, I'm going to see what he CAN do in terms of arresting the person or searching the persons stuff, the main goal is to get the items back yes, but I also want this kid to go through hell like I have been... if I was in charge I would say public testicle kicking in the main area of the highschool. mother f'er would never steal from a white man again (and im 16, Im a junior)

@watervillekid,
In that last line, you say that he should not steel from "White" men, well thats a shame, because you have just lost some points for coming accross as a racist, surely you wouldn't want him to steel from ANY colour person. mind you, it seems the US attitude toward blacks is still making black youths often turn to crime to get their share of the good stuff.
You havn't just got a "stolen phone" situation, what you have is far bigger problem of racial backlash.
I am sad that whites in the US still see themselves as the master race.
Let him keeep the P9 as your way of saying sorry for all the slavery
