Well, as always when a movie player comes out I give it a try hoping for visuals comparable to movies on my previous PocketPC. At last one is finally available which looks & plays awesome. Not played with it for more the 10 minutes but already put a clip of IceAge & MonstersInc through converter with Xdiv codec & they play amazing

Going to do a full convert of Underworld now & see what its like.
Highly recommended up to now, only had a couple of crashes when it seems to get messed up with some of HandyDay features.

Hi getagrip15:
Just downloaded from this link:
http://www.lonelycatgames.com[....]movie/codec/codec_xvid_uiq.sis
It's really great and even covert mpeg2 without needing to convert to avi first! I will buy it.

i think i saw somewhere 59m and 59secs
i'm down to 46mins
i dont know if theres a way of having more minutes. Maybe a trick with installing/uninstalling or maybe backup and restore might do the trick. But they are not so stupid to allow something like this so 60 mins total until u buy it. I think its worth it...

What folder do you copy the converted avi's into on your phone? I tried sending them to video folder, but it wouldn't allow me to as it was "the wrong type of file".

Use the documents folder for the avi
The phone will automatically find it when you run smartmovie

Thanks welsh, but that didn't work. The only was I seem to be able to get it to play one of my files is to copy it into the same folder as the demo files and rename it to demo1 or demo2. Wierd eh?
I'll try reinstalling it when I get home from work.

In order to play a movie you have saved into the documents folder on the phone do this:
Start Smartmovie
Click Browse files
Click Menu (at bottom of screen)
Click "Rescan File System"
Your Movie wil be found.....
