Nokia 6230 is still a great phone...one of the best from nokia (that i've seen in a while). I was going to get it but the small screen put me off (after using a T610 ). So i decided to go for a Nokia 6600. Contrary what a lot of people say it is a extremely good phone, the only thing i have got against it is that the menu is a bit simplistic...but a decent theme will sort that out

I think we will allow other members to give their opinions here if that is ok, although it would be better if they stated reasons for their choice

I just switched from a Nokia to a Sony Ericsson. It really depends on your needs. I have a T610 and it's ok. You can send via IrDA, BT or MMS almost everything in the phone unlike Nokia. I have a friend with a Nokia 7250, it has IrDA but it can't send Pics. My phone does not even acknowledge the 7250 in IrDA. Plus, the screen size is small compared to the T610. Color quality too differs. The T630 is much better than the T610 in terms of SCREEN. I heard it has a TFT screen like Samsung which means clearer resolution. Trust me! I saw a Samsung once with TFT screen and it really looks good compared to the T610.

It's your choice! T610 or T630. They are identical!

Well - I just read a review in a danish mobile-magazine (online: http://www.dk.mobil.nu ) and they really loved this phone. The headline on the frontpage of the magazine said:

"Excellent! The new T630 is the most advanced phone on the market" (i.e. not smartphone)

And in the test inside the magazine they state that T630 is not just a facelifted T610 as many seems to think. It has super-fast menues and is as fast or faster than any Nokia in the SMS-parts. Same time they state that it is a brilliant screen and the totally look and feel of the phone is great. Though it is a bit more plastiqu than the T610. But they are all in all VERY pleased with this phone.

Cheers from Danmark

menus are fast enuff for me with the stick but i dont scroll using the stick to select them i juz shortcut with the keypads a whole lot faster. alot of submenus though. kinda miss the My Shortcuts in my t68 n t610.

keying in messages is fast but still not as fast as Noks. what i like abt the custom dict is that u can delete those frequently unused words and even edit them.

hmm so far no dropped calls with my t630 havnt had any since the t68 and those i used thereafter. thr were a couple of pple tt were surprised i cld use my SEs in the elevators.

lastly havent had either my t610 or t630 hung on me before.
